Science and education of Birobijan

Far East state agricultural university and Birobijan Pedagogical State Institute, Modern Humanitarian University.

In 1990 in Birobijan Jewish department of Institute of national problems of education of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation was created. It was a leading scientific institution of Jewish culture in Russia. National service of agriculture in the region is realized by Birobijan agricultural experimental station. There is Institute of complex analysis of regional problems of the Far East department of the Russian Academy of Science.
