History of Balashikha

At the end of the XVIII century in Gorenky and Nikolskoe first cotton factories were built.

In 1830 a village called Balashikha appeared (it was named due to the name of the Balashikha factory).

In 1839 factory village and station village joined together and formed a city called Balashikha.
