Architecture, sightseeing of Balashikha

On the territory of Balashikha you can find architectural ensembles of the end of the XVIII- beginning of the XIX centuries: a former residence of earl A.K. Pazumovsky which is called Gorenky (now it is sanatorium) and a former residence of princes Golytsiny which is called Pehtra-Yakovlevskoe.

Architectural monuments of the Balashikha region are: a building of the prison which is situated on the Vladimir road, through which exile people went to Siberia; Pokrovskaya church (1829) in the village Pehtra-Pokrovskoe, church of the Birth of Mother of God (1862) in the village Nikolskoe-Trubetskoe.
